🎉 Exciting things are happening in Main Street Anniston! 🎉 We recently hosted a Pitch Competition for our incredible local businesses, thanks to the collaborative efforts of Main Street Alabama and SparkAL through their Bright Ideas initiative. A generous $10,000 grant was awarded to Main Street Anniston to make this competition possible. Local businesses – Full Bellie Deli Anniston, Gracie Barra Anniston, Lucid Dreams Tattoo & Piercings, SRV Guitars, Below Zero Creamery, Old Noble, and The Kress Anniston – each presented a 5-minute pitch showcasing their plans to expand and market their businesses. The competition was fierce, with so many innovative and inspiring ideas shared! 🏆 Congratulations to The Kress Grand Ballroom, our competition winner! Owners Andrew Koehler and Toby Kilpatrick wowed the judges with their transformative vision to shift from an event venue to a Vintage Fair and Antique Market, complete with the much-loved Kress lunch counter! This innovative idea not only honors the building's history but brings a fresh perspective to our community. The Kress will now represent Anniston at the Regionals, competing for another $10,000! We're so proud of you and can't wait to cheer you on to success. Best of luck as we hope you continue toward the State level competition!
