EXCEL Academy 2026 Graduation

I've had a lot of these students since they were in 7th or 8th grade. It has been a pleasure to watch these boys and girls mold into young men and young women over the years. It is my sincere wish and desire that you all achieve your dreams and become productive members of society. Remember, nobody can stop you. Just go for it !

Important Senior Information

Monday, May 4 2026
@1:00 PM -Senior Monthly Check-In
We will pass out caps and gowns. You must have your debts cleared to receive a cap and gown.
A representative from JDR Grad Supplies will be available for those that couldn’t pay online.
Students participating in a graduation ceremony with another school will still receive their diploma from Excel Academy. Please ensure you process the payment for your diploma and diploma cover directly through Excel.
Students not participating in a graduation ceremony with Excel or another school will still need to pay for your diploma and diploma cover.

Seniors that need a FINAL transcript sent to a College or NCAA, must submit the request by Wednesday, May 13. Go to www.parchment.com and request your transcript to be sent.

Graduation Attire
Girls-Must wear a black dress (dress code) and dress shoes (NO tennis shoes or flip flops).
Boys-Must wear a white dress shirt/black tie, black pants, black socks, and dress shoes. (No tennis shoes/sandals/workboots).
Graduation Cap CANNOT be decorated!

Graduation is at 3:00 PM at JSU Pete Mathews Coliseum.

It’s National Assistant Principal Appreciation Week and we are celebrating Dr Vivian Bishop-Harris, assistant principal at EXCEL.

She keeps everything moving, often through the little things that go unseen. She is part of the backbone of the success of EXCEL Academy. EXCEL wouldn’t be successful without you. We extend our gratitude to you for your hard work, dedication, and the positive things that you do daily.
