We are looking for picture frames in good structural condition (8x10 or larger) for hallway collage displays. Frames may have glass or plexiglass, but they don’t have to and small scratches are also fine as we plan to paint them.
Along with the murals we’re currently working to install, these collage displays will help bring more life, color, and student pride to our hallways.
If you have any unused frames collecting dust at home, we’d love to give them a new purpose! Our goal is to fill our walls with student faces, memories, and moments that celebrate our school community. If you're interested in donating, please contact Amber Ray at 256-741-4701 or email @ [email protected]. You may also message our school page here. Frames can also be dropped by the front office of the school.
Thank you for helping us create a more welcoming and vibrant environment for our students!

Hey Wildcats, please help me welcome Ms Courtney Pearl! She is a graduate of Jacksonville State University and just completed her 16th year of teaching. She taught twelve years in Alabama and four in Georgia. Ms Pearl is excited to be back in Calhoun County Schools where her teaching career first began and we are SO EXCITED to have her with us at White Plains Middle as our 6th grade Science teacher!

We had our end-of-year House CHAMPIONS Celebration...after Field Day plus final iReady and STAR points were entered, the House of Perseverance came out on top...House Champions for 2026! ❤️🏆
Pizza, brownies, snacks, soda, music, and all kinds of games filled 1.5 hours of pure fun, and it was a huge hit with the kiddos! The adults had a great time hanging out with our house too.
We even had a few staff members from other houses come help us celebrate. We have to admit… they looked pretty good in red 😉 Their servant hearts and willingness to support our students and staff truly showed what our house system is all about.
While the competition is fun, one of the greatest lessons our students are learning is how to celebrate others, support their friends, and cheer each other on, even across different houses. At the end of the day, it’s bigger than points and trophies. It’s about building relationships, character, and family.
4 houses. 1 WPMS family. ❤️
WPMS Parents and Community:
As some of you may already know one of our precious students, Hannah Austin, has recently been diagnosed with cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy treatments each week. The family will be traveling back and forth to Children's Hospital in Birmingham for her care.
To help offset some of the expenses, our school will be collecting donations to support the family during this time. If you would like to contribute, please send your donation to Mrs. Bonds, School Counselor at WPMS, by May 18th, or send money directly to the family on the the following apps:
