No Sunrise Serenity Yoga on August 27.

(Sorry, everyone. I cannot teach until my doctor releases me to do so. I’m not good at “teaching off the mat” — which is cueing you without participating or demonstrating.)

No Sunrise Serenity Yoga this morning. (August 20)

Sunrise Serenity Yoga returns to Anniston City Market on July 23, 2024, 7:00 am.

We had identified tomorrow, December 12, 2023, as the last day to try outdoor yoga at City Market before taking a break until spring break. Sadly, the 27 degrees forecast means we just won’t be able.

I’m wishing you Happy Holidays, delightful family and friend gatherings and holy moments of faith.

We will be at City Market tomorrow morning. We begin at 7:00 am.

All levels welcome. No experience needed. Equipment available to borrow. Being a friend.

Welcome to Sunrise Serenity Yoga.

We gather for a yoga practice on Tuesday mornings at 7:00 a.m. at the Anniston City Market.

This page is where you can find details and updates.
We will meet as long as it's not too cold. Generally, this is 50 degrees or higher, but the "feels like" temperature and wind will also have an impact. In case of rain, we will have a "rain delay" to Thursday morning.

When it's "iffy" about whether we can meet, this page is where you can get details and not make a trip unnecessarily.

The class is donation-based. The first class is always FREE. After that, we request a $10 donation, at least 50% of which will be donated to a local charity. So, do something good for your body and mind, AND do something good for the community.

All levels, including brand new, are welcome.
You can borrow material including mats, blocks, blankets, straps, and even a lavender-scented eye pillow (unscented also available) for savasana.
