White Plains Elementary School

A huge thank you to First Baptist Church of White Plains for once again blessing our faculty, staff, and families with dinner on our first day back to school!

After a busy day of welcoming students, preparing classrooms, and kicking off a brand new school year, having a delicious meal ready for us was such a thoughtful gift. It gave our staff the opportunity to spend more time with their families instead of worrying about dinner after a long day.

As our superintendent, Mr. Willis, likes to call it, the “Feeding of the 5,000!” ❤️ The love, generosity, and support behind this tradition certainly feels that big.

We are so grateful for your kindness, your servant hearts, and your continued investment in our school and community. Thank you for helping make our first day back even more special!

We're excited to share that breakfast and lunch will once again be FREE for all students during the upcoming school year thanks to our continued participation in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP).

During the 2025-26 school year, our Child Nutrition Program served an incredible:
🥪964,517 lunches
🥞566,651 breakfasts

That's more than 1.5 million meals served to help fuel learning, growth, and success in the classroom! We are grateful for our dedicated Child Nutrition staff who work hard every day to provide healthy, delicious meals to our students. We look forward to welcoming everyone back for another great school year.
