We were pleased to welcome Blastcrete Equipment LLC to the Ayers Campus of Gadsden State for a tour and conversation about building a stronger workforce partnership. President Smith, Dean Robertson and the Workforce Development team enjoyed learning more about their workforce needs and exploring ways Gadsden State can help develop a skilled talent pipeline for Blastcrete and their family of local businesses.

Last week, we were excited to welcome our new cohort of Nursing Mobility students to the Ayers Campus for orientation! It was wonderful to see such an outstanding turnout as students took the next step in advancing their careers.

Orientation is just the beginning of an exciting journey filled with learning, growth, and opportunities to make a difference in the lives of others. We are proud to have these professionals as part of the Gadsden State family and look forward to supporting them throughout the semester.

🌟 Building Stronger Partnerships for a Stronger Community

It was a pleasure to welcome Anniston Mayor Ciara Smith-Roston, accompanied by Aaron Norris, Director of Economic Development and City Planning, to the Ayers Campus of Gadsden State.

Mayor Smith-Roston and Norris toured the campus with President Alan Smith and Dean of Workforce Andy Robertson to learn more about the college's technical and health science programs, academic offerings, and the many ways Gadsden State is helping our community.

We value our partnership with the The City of Anniston, Alabama and look forward to continuing to work together to create opportunities which benefit students, employers, and the region.

What a great two days celebrating America's 250th Anniversary!

Students, faculty, and staff stopped by the Ayers Student Center to enjoy Bomb Pops, patriotic swag, and a little red, white, and blue fun. We loved seeing our campus community come together to celebrate, and we were especially glad President Alan Smith joined in the festivities!
