A short commercial interruption to our normal posts. Southwest Airlines is offering a FREE COMPANION PASS through 2/2022, when you qualify for their credit card. Did you know that BWI and National Airport are the 2 closest airports to Annapolis and both strongly served by SWA?!?!?

That’s 2 fly for the price of 1 to attend USNA Graduation, fall football games and reunions , Fourth of July, Boat Shows, Annapolis Sailing School, Annapolis School of Seamanship, Eastport Yacht Club Parade of Lights, etc. (assuming we achieve herd immunity). And of course, we hope you will stay with us!

This is an example of how we are serving our delicious breakfasts these days. Pictured, one of three trays for room service, and a warm batch of scones for a neighbor so he, his husband and their friends can enjoy our breakfast to go. Not pictured are the early morning renditions for our Annapolis School of Seamanship students. (Photographer was sleeping in 😴).

Ride along with Annapolis School of Seamanship founder Capt. John Martino as he explores the stunningly innovative Keizer 42 picnic boat, offered by Chesapeake Yacht Center. The Keizer 42 combines beauty, style, comfort, great seakeeping and large interior spaces with top quality at a great value. Did you know that we are the ONLY B&B in Annapolis with an ADA accessible guest room??? We were never required to put one in, we just did. We always believed in inclusion, regardless of race, gender, orientation, or mobility.

We are delighted to have offered a gift certificate ( "Annapolis Treats & Treasures" ) in support of the Chesapeake Region Accessible Boating 2020 CRAB Cup Regatta's silent auction. Check the auction out. Some good stuff in there including Schooner Woodwind: Annapolis Sailing Cruises, Annapolis School of Seamanship, VIN 909 Winecafe and many more!!

The water is glistening while we're social distancing. We're hoping for smooth sailing, after Maryland boaters had a delayed start to the season. Now that the recreational boating ban is lifted, BAY BULLETIN gets soms safety reminders from the Annapolis School of Seamanship.

The Chesapeake Bay on Biscayne Bay: What's hot for the 2020 season was on display at the Miami International Boat Show. We got on a plane, saw how a stabilizer that's built by a Maryland company virtually eliminiates boat roll, and caught up with the Annapolis School of Seamanship on the Jr. Captain's Program in Miami for the first time.

On-water training now available from
Annapolis School of Seamanship!
As our state slowly opens Annapolis School of Seamanship will begin offering limited on-water training and private instruction for friends and family. This is in keeping with the new Maryland guidance that limits boating to “immediate family members or people with which they reside”. We are following all Maryland Departments of Commerce and Health guidelines. In addition our captains and all passengers will have temperature checks prior to training. All vessels will be cleaned and sterilized before each course and any time there is a change in passengers.

We have several options available (via the button below) that can be specifically tailored for the current environment and restrictions. Options or combination of options are available, please give us a call to discuss. We look forward to getting on the water again.

Currently our school building and classrooms remain closed. Classroom classes scheduled through the end of May have been postponed. We will provide updates to classroom course availability as we learn more in the coming weeks.

Thank you for your continued patience and support as we adapt and adjust to the rapidly changing conditions.
