Montessori International Children's House (MICH)

Field Day 2026 was a blast! From lawn games to skit performances, and many many popsicles. We thank all volunteers who made this day so special!

✨ New Traditions, Lasting Memories ✨

One of the highlights of our 40th Anniversary Auction was introducing two brand-new experiences that quickly became favorites!

🏫 Head of School for a Day
Two students had the opportunity to step into the Head of School role, helping with special responsibilities, visiting classrooms, greeting students, and getting a behind-the-scenes look at school leadership. It was a day filled with learning, laughter, and leadership.

🍽️ Dinner with the Head of School
Three students and their families joined Head of School Megan Hubbard for a special evening of conversation, connection, and community. Sharing a meal together provided a unique opportunity to build relationships and celebrate what makes MICH such a special place.

These experiences captured the spirit of our community and created memories that will last far beyond this school year. We have a feeling these auction experiences may become beloved MICH traditions for years to come!

May was a whirlwind at Montessori International Children's House!

From celebrating 40 incredible years of MICH, to field trips, classroom discoveries, outdoor adventures, Blue Angels flyovers, and countless moments of growth, joy, and learning, our campus was buzzing with activity all month long.

As we look back on the memories made, we're grateful for our students, families, faculty, staff, alumni, and supporters who make this community so special. Thank you for being part of the journey.

Our students are hard at work painting these custom watercolors for our 1–155 Giving Board. At the upcoming auction, you’ll have the chance to "buy" one (or many!) of these numbers.
