Some views from our very special preschool, offering morning classes for 3s, 4s and 5s with extended care from 7:30am to 5:30pm. Our new PreK+ class runs until 1:30 and is designed for older 4s, young 5s and emerging readers, and will be taught by a state-certified teacher.

Wellness is important so we teach our preschoolers self-care skills everyday. February is Dental Health month so dental hygienist, Ms. Lisa, and her toothy dinosaur buddy came to tell us about taking care of our teeth. We also have a speech therapist who conducts screenings of our students right here at school.

We love having family members visit our classroom for parties, to read to us and to share their jobs and interests!

Happy Chinese New Year! How fitting we are doing the dragon dance in music class - for 2024, year of the Wood Dragon!

This is cold-weather outdoor play at Calvary Center School... so much to do, so many friends to play with, in a beautiful setting with lots of room to run and wildlife to watch!

Valentine's Day - so many ways to learn through play... using fine motor skills to find buried hearts, talking about family in the dollhouse, and counting heart spots on ladybugs!

Apple taste-testing and graphing with our 3s (see what we did, sneaking in some math there?). Homemade play dough for Yellow Day and tissue collage apples with seeds by our 4s.
