Happy Earth Day! Here are some kid-friendly activities we found to celebrate our planet today and beyond. Make every day Earth Day!

Happy Leap Day! Have you done anything to celebrate the day? Here are some kid-friendly suggestions!

1) How many animals can you name that leap, hop, or jump? Can you imitate them?

2) Grab some chalk and create a hopscotch on your sidewalk or driveway.

3) Can you jump 29 times? How about on one foot?

4) Set a timer for 29 minutes of family time. Use it to draw, craft, play a game, clean a common room…

5) Write down some predictions about where kids will be on our next Leap Day in four years? How old will they be? How tall do they think they’ll be? Will they still have the same favorite color? Tuck these notes/predictions away until 2028.

Whatever you do, have a great February 29th!
