We're enjoying connecting with our community, meeting new faces, and sharing how ABWA helps women grow personally and professionally through leadership, education, networking, and meaningful relationships.

It was an honor to have our National President Barbara Pedersen to install our new board. One of the most powerful reflections came from our new secretary, Kelly FG (Kelly Freeman Garrett.)

Leadership is about growth. Authenticity provides us room to grow. Purpose gives us a reason to grow. Don't confuse confidence with leadership. Someone can be confident and lack leadership. Leadership builds character, and character creates trust. Trust is built through honesty. Leadership presents opportunities to grow in confidence.

An Authentic Leader
1) Treats everyone with respect.
2) Helps people see possibilities they didn't see in themselves.

Leadership is about how you make people feel. Growth begins with ownership.

Let's welcome Miran Dalley, the founder of Healing Hearts Wellness Center. She offers insurance-based clinical therapy alongside self-pay coaching, courses, and workshops — so no matter where someone is in their journey, there's a path in.
Her work lives at the intersection of attachment, nervous system healing, and real-life relationships — with individuals, couples, and families who are tired of surviving their patterns and ready to understand them. They're LGBTQIA+ affirming and neurodiversity-welcoming, because healing isn't one-size-fits-all.
Beyond the therapy room, she is building community around a simple truth: connection heals what the past couldn't. I'd love to connect with other wellness professionals, community leaders, and anyone who believes that safe relationships are the foundation of everything.

Rebecca is an entrepreneur, business strategist, and STEM education leader with more than 20 years of experience in business development, medical sales, and client relationship management. She is the Owner and Director of iCode Greater Crofton/Gambrills, where she helps students build future-ready skills through coding, robotics, engineering, and AI programs.
