Annapolis Yacht Club Junior Sailing

The AYC Opti squad is this year's biggest team at Team Trials! A huge accomplishment for sailors and coaches 💯

These 21 sailors spent all year honing their rigging & roll tack technique for a chance to perform at our nation's most intense Opti regatta.

Today marked Day 1 of racing with 228 boats, and AYC sailor Skutch Tyson ending the day in 6th place with 3rd and 4th place finishes in 2 races.

Day 1 of the EPIC Weekend of 2 major championships held within the 20th Annual Halloween Howl Regatta. AYC Junior Sailing hosted 2 days of racing for the USODA Chesapeake Bay Championship & the C420 Atlantic Coast Championship this weekend, and also ILCA radials and 4.7s for 146 sailors, while retaining a focus on FUN!
