Rise & Shine Bakery is expanding our workforce development program and is now accepting applications from community members who are passionate about baking and ready to build new skills!

Our FREE 13-week training program includes: ✅ Hands-on professional baking instruction
✅ Job readiness and workplace skills training
✅ Mentorship opportunities
✅ Weekly stipends during training
✅ ServSafe Certification
✅ Course Completion Certificate
✅ Pathways to employment in the baking and hospitality industry

Rise and Shine Bakery is proud to be a vendor at the Hospice of the Chesapeake event in Annapolis, giving our students the opportunity to showcase their talents while engaging with the community. Hospice of the Chesapeake is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing compassionate hospice, palliative, and grief support services to individuals and families throughout Maryland. We are grateful to partner with an organization whose mission is centered on care, dignity, and hope. 💜🧁

Today at Rise and Shine Bakery, our students sharpened their interview skills through professional mock interviews designed to prepare them for real-world opportunities. We are so proud of how interview-ready, confident, and prepared our students were!
