“DO YOU MAKE $25 AN HOUR?”

“That’s when ears perk up and we share our stories,” says Angela Penry, a support staff member of her local union in Somerset County. “It doesn’t matter where we are in the state, there are support staff who don’t make a living wage.”

Angela is one of 30 summer organizers canvassing door-to-door asking support staff across the state to become LIVING WAGE ACTIVISTS by joining the fight for the contracts, wages, benefits, and respect we all deserve. We know when we stand together—united across every job category—we make it impossible for elected leaders to ignore us. Last week the entire group canvassed in Queen Anne's County.
