According to the Baltimore Banner, as of April 22, 2025, 200,540 Maryland Wear and Carry Permits have been issued. Nearly 19,000 of those went to out-of-state residents. With Maryland's population sitting at 6.18 million, that means just under 3% of Marylanders are permit holders.

Gilly sums up how I feel after all the trainings over the last 2 months. We have hit a major milestone with over 3000 students since we started in 2021 and are continually booking more. With that many students and rounds fired, I am proud to say that we have not had a single negligent discharge. For that, I am thankful to all the participants for abiding by our range policies and adhering to the safety protocols.
