Student voices took center stage this week as our class wrapped up the year with student-led seminar discussions. From pre-colonial Africa through the Civil Rights Movement, students analyzed primary sources, engaged in thoughtful dialogue, and challenged one another to think critically about the development of African American culture. Thank you to our guest moderators for helping make these conversations so meaningful!

Last week, we celebrated our Underclassman Awards, recognizing students for their achievements in academics, leadership, Saints Spirit, and other areas that reflect the values of St. Mary’s. We also honored Mrs. Norwood as she prepares for retirement after many years of dedicated service to our school and recognized Mrs. Mudd, our Teacher of the Year nominee, for her outstanding commitment to our students and community. Congratulations to all of our recipients!

Last night, we celebrated the incredible accomplishments of the Class of 2026 at Senior Awards Night. From community service and leadership to military appointments, athletics, and academic achievement, our seniors continue to leave their mark in every way.
