Runners: your hips are working every single stride, whether you train them on purpose or not. 🏃
A simple single-leg step-down can tell you a lot about hip and pelvic control. Stand on one leg on a step, slowly lower the opposite heel, and watch whether your hip stays level or drops.
It is not a “good runner/bad runner” test. It is information. And sometimes the things you cannot feel during an easy run are exactly what start to show up once mileage and fatigue climb.

Most runners never test hip strength until something hurts. Try the single leg step down test our PTs use, plus two exercises to fix it.
