We are a small church exempt private school in Annapolis serving 6-12th grade. Our environment is warm and friendly. Tomorrow, Tuesday, February 3rd, we will start school at our regular time, but with some adjustments to the morning routine. Our doors will open at 8:45 a.m. to give our morning staff a few extra minutes to arrive safely and to ensure the pathway for students is cleared. We understand that some students may need additional time in the morning or may face unforeseen circumstances due to leftover ice. Therefore, students who arrive by 10:00 a.m. will not be marked as tardy. Safety is our top priority for everyone!

SCHEDULING TOURS FOR 2025-2026!

There is a time and place for everything. Here at The Maven Academy, we believe it is time to refocus on the basics. But what does that mean exactly?

In the upcoming school year, our goal is to reduce distractions caused by technology. While we recognize that technology can be a valuable educational tool, we feel it has taken up too much space in the lives of many of our students. It is essential to ensure that students have a solid foundation before we introduce them to these resources.

We recognize that technology drives the world, but students must master the fundamentals before effectively utilizing these tools. Technology will have its appropriate place here at Maven; however, now is the time to refocus our attention on building intentional and deeper connections with our students. We aim to ensure that our academic program enhances student engagement, builds confidence, and develops critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
