I have an obsession with the sky. Whether it be hiking to mountain tops, paragliding, or flying a plane, I’m always down. Chasing adrenaline whenever I can, and spending the rest of my time chasing a different passion-medicine. One lets me touch the clouds; the other lets me touch lives.

Once a social media chief, always part of the family. Hasan Kamal may be leaving the group chat, but his legacy of perfectly timed reminders, attention to detail, and keeping us all on track will definitely live on (whether we like it or not 😉).

From leading our social media to now taking on the challenges of Pulmonary & Critical Care Fellowship, we have no doubt you'll continue to inspire those around you and provide exceptional care to your patients.

We are elated to announce that we have established a Hematology Interest group at AAMC. Primary focus is to increase resident exposure to hematology via online education, extra-curricular activities and resident-driven research projects.

We want to create a warm, friendly environment where we can not only learn and grow professionally but also have a lot of fun.

Thank you so much to our faculty mentor Dr. Nassereddine and Dr.Muganlinskaya for supporting this initiative.

In the near future we will start discussion about our first steps including online education, events and research. Watch out for updates.
