AUMC Weekday Preschool & Early Learning Program The Early Learning Program (ELP) and Weekday Preschool (WPS) are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).

The purpose of WPS/ELP is to provide an enriching educational environment for young children and their families, one that fosters a love of learning, awareness of self and others, and a sense of accomplishment built on a child's natural curiosity. NAEYC accreditation is the mark of a high quality program and indicates that the program is continually striving to provide the best educational opportu

nities for your child. ELP and WPS are also licensed by the Virginia Department of Social Services. ELP and WPS are non-profit, non-discriminatory programs which are governed by the AUMC Weekday Child Development Committee.
