MBSA Teacher Spotlight | Meet Ms. Madiha!

This week, we’re excited to shine our MBSA Spotlight on Ms. Madiha, one of our wonderful Lead Teachers!

Ms. Madiha brings a strong academic background and a genuine passion for early childhood education to her classroom. She holds a Master of Arts from the University of Hull, an accomplishment that reflects her commitment to higher education, critical thinking, research, and lifelong learning.

At MBSA, Ms. Madiha brings those strengths into the early childhood classroom, helping children develop curiosity, confidence, communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills—important foundations for future learning and STEM exploration.

She loves the curiosity and joy children bring into the classroom each day. Whether she’s leading a hands-on STEM activity or incorporating music and movement, she enjoys creating experiences that make learning exciting, engaging, and meaningful.

For Ms. Madiha, one of the most rewarding parts of being an educator is seeing children’s excitement and knowing she is contributing to the beginning of their educational journey.

And her MBSA superpower? Making children smile!

Outside the classroom, Ms. Madiha enjoys traveling, exploring new places and cultures, and trying new foods.

This week, we’re excited to shine our MBSA Spotlight on Ms. Ana, one of our wonderful Flex Associates!

With 7 years of experience in Early Childhood Education, Ms. Ana loves being part of those special moments when children learn, grow, and discover something new. She especially enjoys arts and crafts, where she gets to watch each child’s creativity and imagination come to life.

For Ms. Ana, one of the most rewarding parts of being an educator is seeing children grow in confidence each day and knowing she has the opportunity to make a positive difference in their lives.

She especially enjoys bringing STEM and discovery into the classroom through engaging, hands-on experiences that keep little minds thinking, creating, and exploring.

At My Baby Steps Academy, the heart of our program is the people who turn everyday moments into opportunities to learn, grow, and discover.

Meet Ms. Ayili, Lead Teacher at our Ravensworth Road campus! Her favorite part of early childhood education is watching her students discover new things, and she especially loves sensory experiences that encourage children to explore colors, textures, creativity, and learning through touch.

But her MBSA superpower says it best: Making children smile.

For Ms. Ayili, teaching is also about being there for the milestones—the little victories, the new discoveries, and even those unforgettable first steps.

Meet Ms. Claudia — Lead Teacher, relationship builder, imagination starter, and one of the incredible people helping shape our children’s futures.

Dear Conquerors Families,

One final goodbye to our incredible Conquerors! 🎓

They came to us ready to learn, and they leave us ready to conquer what’s next—Kindergarten!

We’ve watched them grow, explore, create, build friendships, and discover just how much they are capable of. Being part of their first five years has been a privilege we will always treasure.

To our families, thank you for trusting MBSA with these unforgettable early years.

From MBSA Summer Days → Back to VCU!

This summer, Naomi brought her energy, heart, and enthusiasm to MBSA as one of our Community Ambassadors, supporting our classrooms and helping make our summer even more memorable.

Now, she’s heading back to VCU to continue her own journey.

But this isn’t goodbye—Naomi remains part of the MBSA family and will continue supporting our community during her university breaks.

At MBSA, we don’t just celebrate where you’ve been.
