My parenting class had a taste of motherhood and fatherhood taking care of the Real Care babies. The baby keeps track of everything the student does to take care of it, and the babies especially love waking up at night 😃

Mrs. Massey and Mrs. Morrison joined my parenting class for our unit on children with special needs. Mrs. Massey shared the challenges and rewards of raising a child with special needs, while Mrs. Morrison shared her perspective as a sibling. Thank you both for sharing your story with us on such an important topic that isn't discussed enough.

Nurse Brooke Frank recently presented to our Parenting class during our child safety unit. She shared a very informative presentation with us. The topics covered included choking, burns, allergies, drowning, tick bites, safe sleeping, SIDS, and car seat safety. This presentation was highly enlightening for all my students, but especially those who babysit young children. Thank you Nurse Frank for sharing your knowledge on child safety with us! 👶🩺💊

🎄 HELP WANTED: Merry Christmas Tree Farm Helpers! 🎄

Hey local families and friends! Our cozy Christmas tree farm is gearing up for the most wonderful time of the year, and we’re looking for energetic, high school or college-aged kids (ages 16-22) to join our holiday crew. If you love the magic of the season, chatting with happy families, and getting your hands (and boots!) dirty in fresh pine-scented air, this gig is for YOU!

What You’ll Do:
• Greet smiling customers and help them pick the perfect tree
• Assist with loading trees onto cars (get ready for some light-hearted teamwork!)
• Keep the farm tidy and festive – think wreaths, lights, and holiday cheer

Must-Haves:
• Comfortable working outside in crisp winter weather (dress warm)
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds (trees don’t carry themselves, after all)
• Kind, courteous vibe – we’re all about creating joyful memories for families
Schedule:
• All-day Saturdays (8 AM - 5 PM)
• Sunday afternoons (12 PM - 5 PM)
• From Thanksgiving weekend (Nov 28-30) through the second week of December (up to Dec 14)

It’s short-term fun that looks great on a resume (or just builds holiday cash for gifts)!
