Congratulations Eberwhite! We reached our 1000lb goal for recycled film for the 2nd straight year. This means we qualify for another free Trex bench from their program.

Please hold off on bringing in more bags at this point, so that we can start off the new school year with a big collection. But a huge thank you to all who contributed!!

Another huge collection of plastic bags yesterday: 37.2 lbs!

Keep it coming through the summer! Under 140 lbs to go!

End of Year Giving - for Eberwhite Staff - by June 4.

In an effort to promote equity and make sure all staff members are appreciated for all their hard work this school year, the PTO has created a fund to allow families to donate money that will be evenly divided among Eberwhite staff. All money donated will go directly to purchase gift cards for the amazing staff members who work so hard every day for our students. This list includes but is not limited to specials teachers, special education staff, office staff, custodians, lunch room staff, etc.

Important note: room parents will continue to collect money directly for their classroom teachers. Classroom teachers’ gifts will come from funds collected by room parents, while this giving fund will cover the rest of the staff. If you are willing, able and would like to donate, you can donate electronically or leave cash or check in the office by Wednesday, June 4th.Any amount is appreciated!

Last month, the PTO Council launched their 2025 $20 for $30k Fundraiser, and fundraising is off to a great start. With a month to go, the fundraiser is ⅔ of the way to its goal. You can help on this home stretch! Please consider donating $20 (or more) to help increase Ann Arbor Title I schools’ per pupil spending. If you can’t donate at this time, help spread the word about the fundraiser in our community. Join the effort to create equitable educational opportunities for every child in Ann Arbor!

Staff Appreciation Week is May 5 - 9 this year.

Please help the PTO celebrate ALL the wonderful staff at Eberwhite Elementary with an Appreciation Luncheon on Wednesday, May 7th by sending in food, flowers, and/or volunteering to set up and clean up. The luncheon will run from 11:00 - 1:00 to cover all staff lunches. We would like to have a flower/plant to send home with each staff member. Food and flowers can be dropped off in the morning around drop off. Dishes can also be dropped off closer to the luncheon at 11:00. Please label with your name any dishes that need to be returned. There are approximately 70 staff members.

One of the reasons staff LOVES this event is because they get to sample everyone's best and special dishes. The variety is so much fun! Please consider signing up HERE: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/5080A4EABAE23A64-56127716-staff
Please list what you are planning on bringing in the comment area.
