Today we celebrate the Immaculate Heart of Mary;
a heart that trusted God in every moment, even without full understanding.

In the Gospel, β€œMary kept all these things in her heart,” reminding us that faith isn’t about having all the answers, but about staying close to God through it all.

Like her, we are called to listen, to trust, and to say yes. πŸ’™
Lk 2:41–51

Today we celebrate the Sacred Heart of Jesus, a love that chooses us no matter how small we feel. πŸ’“ He has set His Heart on us and calls us His own. Chosen not for greatness, but for Love.

"It was not because you are the largest of all nations the lord set his heart on you and chose you, for you are really the smallest of all nations. It was because the Lord loved you... that he brought you out with his strong hand from the place of slavery." -Dt 7:7-8

What do you do with your high school letter jacket?

Give it to your daughter. Since it's "vintage," she'll wear it around your current hometown of Zurich!

Share your St. Thomas/FGR spirit wear photos in the comments.

What a great day bringing together generations of Irish football! Alumni and current players took the field for our first-ever Alumni Flag Football Game.

The game came down to the wire and the alumni won by a single point!

Can't wait to do it again next year.

Thank you to everyone who braved the late-May rain and attended our recent Middle School, Senior, and Alumni Baseball Night!

From the middle school athletes dreaming of wearing the green and white one day, to our current players carrying on the legacy, to the alumni who helped build it β€” this was a great reminder of what makes FGR Baseball special.

The connections, friendships, and pride in the program span generations.

Madrilums Concert 2026: Roughly thirty alumni of the Madrigals honors choir joined with current singers to present the annual Madrilums Concert on May 28th.

The repertoire included favorite Madrigal classics plus a few newer pieces. Under the direction of Kelly (Ward) Hernandez ’06, the result was a joyful concert full of beautiful music and Madrigal traditions.

Paired with the Spring Art Show, hosted by Art Teacher Michelle DiFranco, the evening celebrated the magnificent creativity of FGR students and alumni who pursue excellence for the glory of God.

Spring Art Show: The end of May brought alumni singers and artists back to FGR to join current students for the Spring Art Show and Madrilums Concert. While the Madrilums Concert is an annual tradition, this is the first time it was combined with our Spring Art Show, allowing musicians to appreciate the hard work and talent of our alumni and current student artists, and vice versa.

The Art Show was hosted by Art Teacher Michelle DiFranco and highlighted the work this semester of our visual art students, from Art I through AP Studio Art as well as several alumni artists.

Alumni artists:
Miriam Wong ’18
Theresa DiFranco ’19
Riley Mason-Schickel ’22
Rachel Montgomery ’05
Katherine (Estey) Fil ’19
