U-M’s Detroit Neighborhood Entrepreneurs Project leans into AI to support small businesses

For a decade, U‑M’s Detroit Neighborhood Entrepreneurs Project has supported 1,700 mostly minority-owned small businesses with marketing, accounting, tech, and law. Now, with BoodleBox-powered AI workshops and tools like a legal bot and CFO dashboard, firms like The LuvGluv have improved research, inventory, and sales—up 13% from 2024 to 2025 year.
