Our last day in Italy was great in Firenze!

This evening we finished our fourth and final concert of the week. The audience was the biggest we've had in the five years we've done this. Loiano has been a wonderful base for us and we've made many friends here. If any of you get a chance to visit Palazzo Loup, do it.
We appreciate the hospitality of Igino Conforzzi and the Conservatorio di Bologna. Working with the students there was a pleasure and an honor.
Tomorrow we're off to Firenze for the day and then on Monday we fly back to the States.

Great trip, great food and great new friends!

We are in Loiano, Italy and it is gorgeous! The food and hospitality at Palazzo Loup is first class all the way. I'll post some pictures from our first day.

The fifth annual International Trumpet Institute returns to Ann Arbor after 10 days in Europe performing concerts and master classes in conservatories and concert venues. Institute director, Professor Bill Campbell and four of his outstanding students will present a week of master classes for students and professionals 18 and older. (June 24-28, 2013) During the five-day workshop, participants will perform solo works, chamber music and orchestral excerpts. The workshop will focus on musicianship, technique and audition success. The week will culminate in a final performance of trumpet solos and chamber music.
