The Eisendrath Symposium: Covering Migration in Europe

How can journalists responsibly report on Europe's evolving migration politics?

Knight-Wallace Fellows Ismail Einashe, Jedrzej Slodkowski, and Sarah Souli will participate in a panel discussion addressing the rollback of protections for migrants by European governments. They will examine the media's role in conveying the experiences of individuals most affected by these changes.

The Fellows took it all in– exploring history, politics and the local media landscape.

During the trip, Fellows connected with journalists and changemakers from diverse fields, visited historic sites including the Apartheid Museum and the Constitutional Court, and connected with journalists in Johannesburg and Cape Town.
