Please feel free to join us for our Kaffeestunde and Deutschtisch events throughout the semester! The weekly schedule for this semester is:

Kaffeestunde: Mondays 8:30 - 9:30 PM (NQ 3rd Floor East Loft)
Deutschtisch: Wednesdays 5 - 6 PM (NQ Dining Hall)

Please join the Max Kade Haus at München on Deutsch: The German Experience this Wednesday between 5:30 - 7:30 PM in NQ 2435. There will be food from Metzger's restaurant, free t-shirts, the opportunity to learn more about Bavarian culture, and a celebration of the 25th anniversary of German reunification. Interested in being a Max Kade Resident for the 2015-16 academic year?
Every interested student will have to complete and submit an application, regardless if she or he were in the house previously. Applications can be found on the German Department website: http://www.lsa.umich.edu/g…/undergrad/maxkadegermanresidence
On Wednesday, January 21, notifications about the department's decisions will be sent to students.
Requirements of Max Kade Residents:
* sophomore, junior, or senior academic standing during the stay in the Max Kade House
* second-year college level German proficiency by September 2015
* enrollment in one-credit mini courses in Fall 2015 (German 310) and Winter 2016 (German 312)
* active participation and have lots of fun
