St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Elementary School

Today was the annual first grade field trip to the Toledo Zoo. Many animals were seen and good times were had!

Last week was the 42nd annual 4th grade play. This year, our students presented an adaptation of "The Circus Ship", which is a story about circus animals shipwrecked off the coast of Maine. They swim to shore and become part of the community in a local town. Well, done 4th graders!

The SFA Class of 2026 has completed its last day of classes and is off to take on the challenges of high school. As is our tradition, the eighth graders enjoyed a clap out from the entire school on their final day. Congratulations to you all!

On Sunday, Michigan Athletics hosted the Big House 5K race. We had quite a few students participate in the race alongside one of their track and cross country coaches, our Associate Pastor, Father Seamus Kettner. But Father Seamus wasn’t just there for moral support. He was the overall WINNER of the race. There were 12,000(!) runners, and Father Seamus came out on top.
