Theta Xi is a national leader in the educational and social development of its members. Our success and diversity have been celebrated by over 65,000 members since 1864. The Purpose of Theta Xi is to provide a college home environment for its active members in which fellowship and alumni guidance lead to wholesome mental, moral, physical and spiritual growth.

Getting in the Christmas Spirit!
During the week of the University of Michigan-Michigan State football game, the Theta Xi Fraternity and Delta Phi Epsilon sorority of U-M will be hosting the 16th annual Defend the Diag. For those not familiar with Defend the Diag, it entails our chapters guarding the M on the U-M diag from Spartan vandals. The M is a storied landmark on campus; there is a superstition among students that stepping on it will result in failing one's next exam. We will protect the M 24/7, through frigid Michigan nights and hectic U-M school days, to ensure that it remains unscathed.
The money raised for Defend the Diag will go toward our chapters' national charity sponsors, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society for Theta Xi and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for Delta Phi Epsilon. We are very excited to use this event to raise awareness and money for these great causes.
