We are registering a team for ROBOFEST 2022.

Robofest, hosted by Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, MI, is a festival of competitions and events with autonomous robots that encourages students to have fun while learning principles of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) and Computer Science. Students design, construct, and program the robots. Any robotics kits are allowed in the construction of robots. Robots can be programmed with any programming language. Robofest programs support Computer Science for All.

Since 1999, over 31,000 students have competed in Robofest, including teams from 18 United States and the countries of Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, Ecuador, Egypt, Ethiopia, England, France, Ghana, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Kenya, Lebanon, Macau, Malawi, Mexico, Morocco, Nigeria, Philippines, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Taiwan, and UAE.

Teams compete in the junior (grades 5-8), senior (grades 9-12), and college divisions. For RoboParade, Junior includes 4th grade. Student teams, composed of up to five members each, can participate in a variety of events:

Good luck and Kudos to all the girls from Steamfun4kids who will participate in the Challenge (YBTC). Our Non profit’s mission is to promote stem education for all. The all girls team of 4 from Ann Arbor, Michigan thoroughly enjoyed making the research video and preparing for the event. The participants are:

Rajonya Dey 7th grade Clague Middle School
Jhanvi Giddu 7th grade Clague Middle School
Esha Jadhav 6th grade South Arbor Academy.

We are very excited to have an girls team from
Michigan. This is the 2nd year we are coaching for YBTC and it is our first all girls team. Hoping to train more kids in future chemistry competitions. Very excited to have National Finals in person.
