Sigma Rho Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. was chartered on December 19, 1964.
Since its charter in 1964, Sigma Rho chapter has served its communities of Ann Arbor & Ypsilanti for 56 years through a variety of social action programs.

This past Saturday we were grateful to sponsor the 4th Annual Men's Health Walk/Run in collaboration with the Ann Arbor Black Nurses Association. The mission of this event was to raise awareness about the health of Black Men as well as to raise funds for a scholarship that will be presented to a young black male in the Ann Arbor Community.

On December 23, 2025 we concluded out Toys for Tots Toy Drive as well as our Adopt a Family Initiative. Both endeavors were a success. Major shout out to the Men of Sigma Rho and Theta Gamma Chapters for making it happen and seeing it through!

Yesterday we had the honor of escorting 54 children from Ypsilanti Community Schools (65 children received gift cards) on a shopping spree at the Meijer Store in Ypsilanti, Mi as part of our 6th Annual Shopping with the Ques Initiative. Each child received a $100 gift to spend as they chose. Afterwards, they enjoyed Jets Pizza and a lot fellowship. The event was a resounding success and the children were extremely happy.
