Exploring Stressors and Physiological Health

Do you work as a manager or supervisor at a hotel? If so, we are looking for participants to participate in a phone interview. We want to hear about the health concerns and needs of you and your workers. You will be compensated $50 for your time.

Do you work as a hotel housekeeper or hotel laundry worker? If so, we are looking for participants to participate in a focus group. We want to learn about health concerns and needs. You will be compensated $50 for your time.

About our research:

We are a study based at the University of Michigan's School of Nursing. Our aim is to reach out to hotel housekeepers and hotel laundry workers in Ann Arbor and surrounding area. We want to learn about stressors in and outside of work that affect the health of these workers through focus groups and interviews. Ultimately, our goal is to create a health promotion program to not only improve the health of these workers but to also empower them as women and individuals.
