Join the INFORMS ARDEI committee at the Detroit Public Theater for a free performance of The Peculiar Patriot, written by Liza Jessie Peterson and directed by Talvin Wilks. This play unpacks the human impact of mass incarceration in America. Fearlessly funny, smart, and provocative, The Peculiar Patriot traces the migration of systemic injustice from the plantation to the prison yard.
This event is FREE, but a $3 deposit is required to ensure a spot, which will be fully reimbursed at the theater on the day of the event.
