We are so happy to celebrate this exciting new chapter as Swinsala begins married life! She continues to grow her beauty salon while working toward her final professional certification. We are so proud of all she has accomplished and wish her and her husband a lifetime of happiness and success. 🎉✨

Today, we celebrate a very special milestone in Mekala's journey. After joining Grace Children Home in 2023 to complete her G.C.E. Advanced Level studies, she worked tirelessly toward her goal and successfully passed her A/L examinations. She has now been selected for the 3 year Teacher Training Diploma at the National College of Education, Vavuniya.

Mekala's story is a wonderful reminder of what can happen when determination is met with opportunity. We are incredibly proud of all she has achieved and are excited to see the difference she will make as a future teacher. Thank you to our board members, donors, and well wishers for helping make this achievement possible. We wish Mekala every success as she begins this exciting new chapter! 💜📚

✨ Dance Recital Day ✨
The girls lit up the stage with their confidence, talent, and beautiful performances during their dance recital! 💃🌟 Their hard work and dedication truly showed in every step, and we are so proud of each and every one of them.

Last week, the girls had the opportunity to learn about different religions and cultures, focusing on the story and teachings of Buddha. To celebrate Vesak, they created colorful Vesak Kuduvas and enjoyed a day of creativity and cultural learning together. 🌸🪔✨

Nothing brings bigger smiles than a friendly game of cricket! 🏏💜 The girls had an amazing time playing together, building teamwork, and confidence.

A Lifetime of Giving : Meet Ms. Angela!

This month, we had the most heartwarming reunion as some of our girls from 2017 came back home to Grace. Over dinner, 12 of our past girls gathered to share their stories — how life at Grace shaped them, strengthened them, and prepared them to face the world with confidence. 🙏

Dr. Ahilan even asked them to record short video clips to celebrate Grace's upcoming 25th anniversary, and we cannot wait to share their voices with you all.

To our old girls: thank you for coming back. Seeing the women you've become is everything. 🌟💜💃
