The Chick Evans Caddie Scholarship is a full tuition and housing college scholarship for golf caddies. Evans Scholars are selected based on their strong caddie record, excellent grades, outstanding character and demonstrated financial need. In addition to these criteria, we are a group of people connected by our sense of pride, determination and community.

This past Thursday we had an amazing opportunity to host our very first Alumni Career Night here at the Michigan League! Thanks to our Lovely Executive VP’s Ari and Bailey, we were able to bring together 30+ current scholars and 11 Alumni, in order to create an educational and meaningful dialogue between the the two groups. Many of us learned valuable information about different career options, resume building, job interviews, and post undergraduate education. However, it was just as amazing to see how much they learned from us and the differences in house living between now and then. We all left with many things in mind, but being college students first, the two words that stuck out the most were: Road Trips 🚗 🚦🤣.

The University of Michigan Evans Scholars hosted our 35th Annual Chick Day Golf Scramble this past Sunday. The event was a success and we are very thankful for everyone who came out to support the Evans Scholars Program!
