U-M CEE: Civil and Environmental Engineering

CEE students celebrated the end of the winter semester and took a break from studying for finals to grab some ice cream from the student services office. Thanks to everyone who showed up! We wish you the best of luck during finals week.

CEE is on the rise. Our Civil Engineering program moved up to #4 (+1) and our Environmental Engineering program climbed to #2 (+2) in the latest graduate U.S. News & World Report rankings. Proud of our faculty, students, staff, and partners whose work is driving impact in infrastructure, water, resilience, and sustainability.

The Student Services Team and ASCE held CEE's annual pancake breakfast last week, bringing together over 90 students, faculty, and staff to connect and celebrate our vibrant CEE community. Thank you to everyone who joined us!

What a great night at Yost Ice Arena on Saturday! ⛸️🎉

CEE grad students organized an awesome social open to the whole department—students, faculty, staff, and guests all came out to skate on the Michigan Wolverines' historic home ice. We had a blast skating, laughing, sipping hot cocoa, and soaking up classic Michigan winter vibes!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Popcorn & Pups. It was great to see the CEE community come together to relax, connect, and enjoy time with the therapy dogs.

We appreciate everyone who came out and helped make the event such a positive and welcoming experience.
