Latin American Native American Pre-Health Association
With only 5% of all physicians, 3% of all dentists, and 2% of all total nurses being Hispanic, there is a shortage of Latino health professionals in the US. As a means of increasing these numbers LANAPHA seeks to recruit, retain, and encourage the matriculation of Latin and Native American students into the allied health professions. We are committed to addressing the needs of pre-health students within the University of Michigan's Latin American and Native American communities.
