We are grateful to our community for making it possible for our staff to attend the Michigan Association for the Education of Young Children Annual Meeting. This conference is a special opportunity to learn with colleagues from across the state and immerse ourselves in our field.
Our group looked so excited that a colleague just couldn’t resist jumping into our photo.

Come on by the J on MLK day for Matasha W. Allen's Freedom Songs Singalong!
The JCC will be closed on Monday, January 16 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day with the exception of one event.
The 4th Annual Freedom Songs Sing-Along with Matasha Allen and the Ypsilanti Community High School Choir will take place at the JCC at 2 PM. Matasha is a long-time ECC teacher and advocate for music education and the use of music to connect us to the Civil Rights Movement. Join to pay tribute through song to the music that shaped the movement.
