If you know someone with COVID-19, or someone who's helping a friend or family member get through it, we've got exciting news. We've just published a set of free guidebooks, based on the wisdom and advice of those who have already been through this journey. Learn more and find a link to them here: http://michmed.org/kva88

These guides cover everything from caring for someone at home, to handling a trip to the emergency room, to dealing with COVID-related hospitalization, to information on recovering at home and getting follow-up care and support.

The team behind the guides based them on the amazing insights of people taking part in the HEART study of COVID-19 caregivers. They're also preparing to launch a network of peer counselors who can be available to support others through their COVID-19 journey. And, they'll make the guide templates available to any hospital or health provider that wants to customize them for their patients.

This project relied on teamwork among people across U-M, and the support of P&G .
