Community Cleanup Success!

The Genesee Conservation District and Genesee County Land Bank joined forces to clean up, clear and restore several blocks on Flint's north side!

Last week, passionate volunteers tackled illegal dumping, filling over a dozen bags with trash in just a few hours. After, Land Bank crew are hauled away the debris to keep the momentum going.

But we’re not stopping there! Plans are underway to remove dead or dying trees and invasive species, paving the way for replanting and more cleanup efforts in the near future.

Together, we’re building a cleaner, greener, and safer Flint!
