The KidZone tent at A2SF was rockin’ 🎶 yesterday! First Steps Early Childhood, Ann Arbor Rec and Ed offered families a construction zone with wooden blocks, magnatiles, cardboard bricks, legos, and more. 👷‍♀️🚜🧱🔨 A great time was had by all. 😊

Come be 'enchanted' at Rec & Ed's "Swiftie Camp"! In this full-day camp, designed for ages 9-12, campers will make their own Taylor-inspired crafts, decode song lyrics, create friendship bracelets, and take part in fun dance parties and lip-sync battles.

We wrapped up our second High School Volunteer Training of the summer tonight at Eberwhite Elementary and are ready for Summer Camps starting next week! ☀️🎉

We’re incredibly grateful for our 160 amazing high school volunteers who will be helping all summer long—welcoming campers, creating fun experiences, and lending a hand wherever needed. Thank you for your energy, leadership, and commitment to making this summer unforgettable. We can’t wait to get started! 💙🙌

Yesterday’s 12th Annual KidFest, a benefit concert hosted by First Steps-Ann Arbor PTO, had ideal weather 🌞, upbeat music 🎶, yummy food 🌮, hands-on activities 🐠, and a ton of good, wholesome, family fun.😎

Rec & Ed strives to provide a safe outdoor recreational environment where students are able to meet new friends and learn to play sports from volunteers in our community! 🥅

Teamwork and active participation are key components. Every child plays as there are no tryouts or cuts!
