The Ann Arbor Bonsai Society is holding their annual show and sale this weekend at Matthaei Botanical Gardens. Check it out 10-4 Saturday and Sunday.
The society charges a $3 entrance fee for the show, there is no charge for their sales area or any of the Matthaei Botanical Gardens garden spaces.
Don’t mind us, just fawning over this little trail cam visitor.

Our summer 2026 interns are wrapping up their 16 week long internship! We have had an incredible summer with them joining our teams on horticulture, natural areas, campus farm, education, marketing and administration. The Annual Ann Arbor Bonsai Society Show and Sale is this weekend on Sat, Aug 22 and Sun, Aug 23 from 10am-4pm at Matthaei Botanical Gardens! You can expect to see award winning bonsai, demos, and bonsai for sale! There is $3 show entry fee (students free w/ ID)
