For anyone who knows people in Minneapolis! I am looking for caregivers to work at a conference in Minneapolis from Thursday, July 18th - Saturday July 20th from 8:30 am - 6:00 pm each day. This program is for children and young adults, some of whom have physical and cognitive impairments. I am looking for caregivers who have experience with special needs care, childcare, and/or home care. Childcare workers, teachers, PCAs, home health aides, etc. are a good fit. Pay is $20/hour. We just finished an outer space themed program in Washington DC. The kids enjoyed making rocket ships and astronauts to match the theme.

Registration is now open for small group Learning Pods with Plus One Meetings at our Ann Arbor west location. Academic support during virtual learning and safe, small group socialization with peers and a dedicated Learning Facilitator. 2-, 3- and 5-day options. $50/day for an 8-student pod; $65/day for a 6-student pod.

Great tip to encourage hand washing at child care centers, camps and schools: Give children a stamp or mark their hand with a marker. Kids have to wash the stamp off before they can move on to the next activity. Teaches them to scrub with soap, not just rinse with water.
