When you're a teacher on vacation the shopping wish list can be sooooo long!

I'm excited to have so many new followers all of a sudden. I am currently enjoying the beginning of my summer break in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. I have lots of fresh content swirling around my brain and once I get back to reliable internet I will begin some new posts. In the meantime, check out my original posts that highlight my tried and true Classroom Clean Up System that has worked wonders to keep my room organized for years.

It's my first Monday of summer break and I'm feeling motivated to do a summer refresh on so many things, including my online presence. Because of my Classroom Cleanup system that keeps my classroom tidy and organized all year long, I was able to walk out on the last day of school right after our brief staff meeting. I was done packing and loading my car, my room was ready for summer janitorial work, and all my paperwork was turned in. I also did not have any piles and boxes of stuff for my August self to deal with. Overall, it took about 2 school days to clean and pack the classroom- and I did most of it with my students' help.

Happy New Year! As I finish up winter break, I like to take stock of what bargains I can snag from year-end or holiday sales that will help me for the rest of the school year. Think outside of the box and you'll find yourself saving money while planning ahead.

It is time to reset my routines. I lost my favorite pencil topper on this pen a couple of weeks ago because I was letting myself be too busy and too distracted. After I found it, I realized I just need to get my system back on track in my classroom. So, here I am! Tuesday: Day 2 of my Classroom Cleanup System. Even though I skipped Day 1, I can jump right in because of how easy it is. This zone is actually in good shape so I need to touch it up with my maintenance cleaning.
