It’s that time! We are now officially hiring for 2026 SBSP Spring/Summer Positions!

We are looking for current undergraduate students who are passionate about working with SBSP scholars and looking to gain a variety of transferable skills. If that sounds like you, this could be the perfect opportunity!

We are now hiring for Academic Peer Advisors (APA), Course Assistants (CA), Residential Peer Mentors (PM), and a new combined CA/PM position.

We will be hosting info sessions for these positions on Tuesday, January 20th, from 3-4pm and Wednesday, January 28th, from 4-5pm. Please be sure to RSVP if you would like to attend and/or receive the recording of one of the sessions..

Additionally, we are offering an interview prep workshop on February 4th from 4-5:30 pm via ZOOM. ALL candidates who apply are welcome to attend. Drop in when you can and leave when you need to. Please RSVP for this workshop after submitting your application - you can find the RSVP in the application form.

We are looking for candidates who have completed their bachelor’s degree by the end of winter 2026. If you are looking to gain skills in supervision, collaboration, and administration, and you are interested in supporting our Summer Bridge Scholars, this could be a great fit for you!

Hi I’m Robert Lee and I’m from Chicago IL. I’m majoring in Public Health Sciences on the Pre-Dental track. I’m Peer Mentor and a 2023 alum of Bridge. I am excited to meet all the incoming bridge scholars to help them navigate umich!

Hi everyone! My name is Xavier Perry and I’m from Pittsburgh, PA. I just graduated with a Bachelors of Music in Vocal Performance with a minor in Intergroup Relations. I am new to the Summer Bridge Scholars community but I am so excited to meet everyone and for our one on one meetings to connect!
