I honestly have a group of very well behaved bonus babies right now, but some of my preschool years and a few since opening my program have been VERY safe in my classroom or home 😂😂

Today was a day for the books 😂😂 We had some plumbing issues in the kitchenette at the most inopportune time - right as I was trying to get lunch ready and had two babies very much ready for bottles 😵‍💫 I was literally standing in water and trying not to completely lose it! But, we managed and when the chaos settled, I took a look at my phone and saw this text from a family that had to relocate. It was a joy to see an update on one of my bonus babies and get a little extra nudge of encouragement when I felt like I was drowning - almost literally 🥴🤣 God never messes up the timing of things, that’s for sure!

When God brings me a family, it isn’t something I take lightly. It is a profound responsibility that I feel blessed beyond measure that He entrusts to me…that parents entrust to me. I want every child to be loved and cared for to the highest extent I can possibly accomplish and for PARENTS to be able to walk away every day, knowing their child/children is safe, loved, and nurtured.

As exhausting as it is to make happen, water play is one summer memory I will never NOT do! Even when they are not fans...
