My sweet husband took all the kids out for a few hours so I can work!!! Sickness and holidays and a few other things have gotten in the way of my painting! BACK AT IT!!!

I had the privilege of using my art to further the Kingdom this weekend. I did a painting during a fundraiser dinner. The first picture is what it looked like when I took it. I worked on it for about an hour at home and painted for 1hour 20min there. It was such a rewarding experience.

The meaning in the painting:
Cross on pine tree - Salvation
Narrow path- our walk with Christ
Mountain - He is the Solid Rock
Continents of the world -sprend His good news
Gold on top - Heaven's Glory

Another very large canvas painting I finished yesterday!

I'm calling this painting Do Not Worry. A good visual reminder for such a time as this.

“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these."

A commission I finished a couple weeks ago. Loved this one! A sweet family! They wanted two baby deer in the picture to represent the children they have in heaven. It was my honor to create the vision that they had in mind.

I think you will agree with me that the, very in love, man who asked me to paint this is the best boyfriend ever. The girl in this painting is very blessed. This girl lost her mom as a child, her boyfriend wanted her to have a picture with her mom now! 💕 It was a surprise for her birthday! I mean, isn't that just the sweetest thing you've heard today?!! Loved helping him with this idea!
