**UPDATE** The Governor announced an amendment to the proposed HSB 542. Since the amendment has not yet been filed, the work session will now be held from 5:00-6:00pm and cover the purpose of and services received from Heartland AEA.

**Original post** The Ankeny Board of Education will hold a work session on the services received from Heartland Area Education Agency and its impact on the Ankeny Community School District as they seek to understand the impact House Study Bill 542 would have on the district.

The work session will be held on Monday, January 22, from 5:00 to 6:30 pm. The board meeting will begin at 6:30 pm. This work session will be live-streamed on our YouTube channel, youtube.com/ankenyschools

Last Open Coffee this morning at Cafe Diem! I’ve enjoyed four cups of Joe and some yummy breakfast this week at one of our great local shops!
