Dear AoE students

We recognize that many of us are encountering storms in our lives—whether they be personal challenges, uncertainties, or concerns. Nevertheless, as followers of Christ, we hold firm to the assurance that God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in times of trouble.

In this stirring passage from Isaiah 41:10, we find solace and hope: "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness."

Dear school community,

Today, we want to reflect on the Christian values that are the foundation of our school and our faith. The core of Christianity lies in love, compassion, and service to others. As followers of Jesus Christ, we are called to spread these values through our words and actions, positively impacting those around us.

Love is the essence of Christianity. The Bible teaches us in John 3:16: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Just as God loved us unconditionally, we too should love one another, regardless of our differences. Love is the bond of perfectness, and through it, we demonstrate the character of Christ in our lives.

Compassion is another virtue that Jesus showed us in His earthly journey. He approached the needy, healed the sick, and comforted the forsaken. Following His example, we should have compassion for the pains and struggles of our fellow students, teachers, and staff. By extending a helping hand, we can be instruments of hope and comfort, carrying heavy burdens and sharing the love of God with everyone.

Service is the practical expression of our love and compassion. Jesus said in Matthew 20:28: "The Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many."
